A Few Minutes Late, but nonetheless...

Dude... It's been a whole year since I've been on Xanga.  That's just crazy. 

I'm applying for Governor's school.  It takes A LOT of writing.  I just finished the first part of it, I hope.  I'm going for creative writing.  Hopefully, I'll get in.  That would be pretty kickass if I did. 

Now I need to write something though.  And it has to be good.  They take 20 creative writing students from the entire state, so this piece has to be better than all but 19 at most.  I need ideas.  Give me a basic story idea.  I'll turn it into something. 

I'll give you a cookie if you give me an idea.

And I'll give you a piece of apple pie if I use your idea.  :D

But yeah.  Wish me luck with that. 

And I should probably go.  I'm sleepy.  And I feel like writing.   So, I'm either going to go write something or go to bed.

Or perhaps none of the above.  You know me, spontaneous like that.  :D

Back from the Dead

No, I haven't died.  I just haven't updated.  In over 3 months.  I think that might be a new record.  Seriously. 

I'm just not good at commitment.  I can't commit to writing on here.  Like, at all.  I don't know why.  It's not like I have absolutely nothing to write about.  I think it's just the fact that I'm a lazy bum.  Yes, that must be it.  PROCRASTINATION!  I say I want to write, and say I will, and then... don't.  It's that simple.

But alas.  What can I update you all on?  Well, I'm on quizbowl this year.  For real.  No longer am I a lowly scorekeeper.  I'm on the JV team.  It's exciting.  And a great amount of fun.  Also a good source of inside jokes. DOLLY PARTON!  or ERNEST HEMMINGWAY'S PANCREAS!  to name a few.  :D

I also started playing guitar.  I'm getting pretty good at it, actually.  Tis much fun.  I can't wait until I can play decently and maybe write songs or something.  But I don't know if I'm talented enough. 

Hmm....  Might there be anything else worth mentioning?  I'm re-reading the Harry Potter books.... again.  I've just started the first one for the 11th time.  So... for a count so far... I've read the first four 10 times each, the fifth one 5 times, but I've only read the 6th one once.  It's painful.  And I know... It's been out for over a year, but I just haven't read it.  I'll read it again before the 7th one comes out though.  If Adrienne ever gives it back, that is... *cough hint hint cough*  :P 

Yeah, I'm obsessed.  I intend to write down minute details that I might've passed over the first 10 times, and piece them together, so I can figure out what's gonna happen in the seventh book.  :D  Crazy Potter Nerd, yes I am. 

Oh, I've also joined school paper.  I just wrote an article today for it.  On Writers' Block.  Imagine that, a writing about writers' block.  Ironically enough, it was amazingly easy to write.  Amazing, really. 

I gots a new layout.  It's a messy desk!  Yay!  Looks like my bedroom, only neater.  Hehe. 

Hmm... I really can't think of much else to say to you all right now.  So, I guess I'll go.  I kind of have work to do anyway.  Love you all!

Yes!  I'm Updating!  It's a shocker, I know.

And my update is really lame too.  It contains things dealing with the S-word.  You know.  The one that starts with an S, and ends with chool. 

Yes, THAT word.

But anyway.  I'm going to post my schedule that I'll have to follow for my days in Prison.  Let me know if any of you all are in any of my classes.

1st- AP US History- Lydick  (This will be killer... *doesn't do well with mornings*)

2nd- 1st sem. - Gym- Mr. Dehaven. (I like gym 2nd period, I had it last year then.  Dunno how I'll like Mr. Dehaven though...) 
         2nd sem.- Career Challenge- Henry (*might be a bit frightened by this class... has heard rumors...*)

3rd- AP Calculus AB (...*shudder*... Tell me again why I'm so smart when it comes to math?)

4th- Band- Freeman-  (And that's only if I decide to keep band on my schedule.  I'm thinking of dropping it and taking something less... stressful...  But it's not only Freeman that's making me want to drop.  I considered it long before Nelson left...)

5th- Spanish III- Burkett- (... Yep.  Another year with the crazy.)

6th- Chemistry- Knoll- (Mr. Knoll's teaching!  *had no idea that was coming*  Though I did kinda want Mr. Petrosky.  But Mr. Knoll rocks too, so it's all good.)

7th- English- Beer/Runyan-  (And I think I have Runyan first semester, Beer second.  Cuz Runyan's room number is listed on my schedule, and Beer's number is listed on Burkely's.)

8th- School Paper- Treese/Haggerty- (Should be interesting)

So yeah.  That's where I'll be this year.

Please, tell me someone will be in my classes with me that I know and get along with.

CRAZY LIKE A COCONUT!

Hello all.  I know I know, I haven't updated in ages.  Don't shoot me. 

My life is just either too boring to update, or when something happens, I either don't have the time or the energy.

But, I'm updating now, so you'd better be happy.  Heh. 

Hmm.... What can I say....

Well, school's out for summer.  That's always exciting.  So I've mostly been chillin' on the computer and reading the crapload of books I've promised I'd finish. 

I haven't started my summer assignment though.  I suppose I should do that soon.  Yes, quite soon.  Considering Saturday is the first of July, and July and August are busy months for us. 

Oh, I went to Canada this summer.  Twas fun.  I went with girl scouts, and we all had a great time.  The car rides were... Interesting, to say the least.  But the falls were gorgeous.  If I think about it I'll post some pics.  We even did this thing where you could get really really close to the falls.  I tell you, the power that water holds... Let's just say there's no way I'd want to stand under that water fall.  It'd kill you in like, a second.  No, less than a second.

Hmm...  Oh, on a not so happy note, Sean and I broke up.  I'm okay though.  I was proud of myself.  I didn't get emotional over it.  It was for the best.  Besides, now I can talk about sexy peoples without guilt.  Heh.

That's about all I can tell you guys right now.  But I've got a cool picture to show you.
